My son follows it. This is one of those rare good years for the M's. I used to take him to ball games at the King Dome in the 1990's. He kept up his interest in baseball since then. About once a year he takes me to a Mariners game in the new ball park. Mostly, we sit and catch up on personal news, only occasionally watching the game.

We listened to the Mariners lose the opening playoff game to the Tigers. Cal Raleigh had 3 hits and Julio Rodriquez had two hits, including a home run and drove in Cal with a single for the M's other run. The other 7 players combined for ZERO hits in 11 innnings. :s0054:

In a nutshell, NO.

I love baseball. I hate what professional sports has become.
I have not watched a single MLB game or any other professional sports since all the kneeling and copycat kneeling started. They win. I'm gone.

Same here, we quit football when that whiny, sniveling turd (kapernick) started running his ignorant mouth.
I used to love listening to MLB games when I worked in my shop, didn't really care who was playing I just enjoyed the sounds of the game, made me think of summer and when I was a kid. Then the scamdemic came along and thanks to politics that got ruined as well, I couldn't turn on a game without covid being mention every 2 minutes so I gave up and haven't paid attention since, that was summer of 2020. Oh well!🤷

I love baseball...went to a lot games as a kid.
Fond memories of the days of The Big Red Machine.

Nowadays...MLB...nah...Not a fan of what Major league sports have become./ degraded into.
Not to forget to mention the prices ...a big nope for me.

That said...
A minor league game...yep...still go to those .
One of the best things about Bellingham are the Bellingham Bells.

When I used to take my son to the Kingdome, late 80's-1990's, they would announce public attendance at the game. We usually went to evening games during the week, being as how I was working. It wasn't unusual to hear the announcer call off an attendance of maybe 2,000 when the visiting team was one of the less popular ones, like the Milwaukee Brewers or the Toronto Blue Jays. But attendance was up significantly when the Yankees or White Sox came to town.

I've been to a Mariners game at the KingDome and another here at Chase Field with a now-deceased lifelong Mariners fan. Was great to make the game happen for them. I am sure they would have been happy to see the Mariners in the running. I hope that everyone who's interested can continue enjoying the games for as long as possible.

In 2023, the Diamondbacks had a little input on the 2023 World Series. I didn't go to any of the games, but I was able to enjoy the fly-overs and the fireworks from the patio.
