good for him, let's get weird with it, honestly. In addition he is going to be drilling holes in it and somehow incorporating wood into the rifle.
I had not considered that, perhaps you're right here. I just couldn't bring myself to it considering I recently saw Anderson lower going for $24.99I may have misunderstood what the OP wanted. It seemed like he wanted something cheap that he could hack up and put back together with wood pieces. No reason to put an aluminum lower through that torture again, I've already sacrificed one forged lower.
I have only handled one polymer AR and when it was handed to me it just felt wrong! I know it was cheap and I know the lockup doesn't affect the lower, but I would have never guessed this kind of breakage was possible.I would never buy this type of polymer lower, they fail too easily at the takedown pin/receiver extension interface. The only polymer lower worth considering is the integral stock type from KE Arms, which have become stupid expensive since the whole WWSD thing.

He may have decided we are a bunch of rich turds. Or it was a post and run.OP hasn't been seen since May 28. Wonder if he decided on anything?
Either way, you are the OP's spirit animal…..He may have decided we are a bunch of rich turds. Or it was a post and run.
I embrace the cheapness.Either way, you are the OP's spirit animal…..

Yes sir, if you do an internet search on "broken polymer AR lowers" you'll find the web full of them with nearly all broken in the same manner as the photo I posted.I have only handled one polymer AR and when it was handed to me it just felt wrong! Nothing a hot glue gun and a few zip ties can't fixYes sir, if you do an internet search on "broken polymer AR lowers" you'll find the web full of them with nearly all broken in the same manner as the photo I posted.
Drill holes on either side of the break and stitch it back together like a dirt bike's broken fender? I like it!Nothing a hot glue gun and a few zip ties can't fix![]()
