Any Good Shooting Organizations?

Are there any good shooting sports groups in the Vancouver/Portland area? Ones like USPSA or IPDA? I know a couple local gun ranges have clubs but they are impossible to join.

quite often a club's matches will be open to the public,membership in the club not required. I know it's that way up at wolverton mt. gun club,and they had 3gun,usps,IPSC, and bowling pin matches. would that work ?

I <think> the same is true of some/most matches at tri-county,but in their infinite wisdom they've decided to hide their calendar from non-members.

Tri-County has a IPSC/USPSA style match every month. They have a few Range specific rules that the USPSA doesn't allow so they are no longer sanctioned from my limited understanding.

Tri-County runs IDPA - non members of TriCounty welcome. You have to join IDPA after your "first" match.

Fee is currently $15
You have to take the TriCounty new shooter session - 8am day of match.

Next match is this Saturday.
April is "special" BUG (at least some stages)
