Anti-Gun States Sue to Stop First Amendment, Impose Controls on Firearms Information

State attorney generals are suing the Trump Administration to attack First and Second Amendment rights. They are using the Administrative Procedure Act and a Washington District Court to do it.

In as much as I've written an untold amount of letters to every Wa. state legislator (and some others) this year, it seems as some states AGs' can not resist attacking our constitutional rights on a wholesale front en masse.
Respective of that, I find myself being forced to counter the actions above and express my displeasure with my state AG, ferguson. I would encourage others to do the same. He can be contacted here..

In a simplified statement, the 1st 10 amendments were added because of fear of eventual governmental overreach. Those fears have been shown to be clearly justified. The further removed we go from when those amendments were added, the more we forget why they were needed in the 1st place.

It's unfortunate that the need to remind is there, but not nearly as unfortunate as the fact that many have never been educated as to this in the forest place...

States are trying to exert their sovereignty by bypassing Federal Constitutional law. it's why OryGun is pushing to remove preemption so they can beat the laws they simply don't like!
The State A.G's feel emboldened to challenge the laws and attack the POTUS because the D.O.J. and SCOTUS have not put their foot down and told the States to go pound sand! I expect to see the next Trump Presidency to right many of these wrongs, and I expect to see SCOTUS very busy in these next 4 years! The State Gov'ners and State A.G.s need to be reined in and held to Constitutional law, or suffer the consequences of failing to uphold those laws!
