Same. For that $ there are some cool moving targets out there. I've avoided buying those also due to cost. Makes more sense for an actual range to buy rather than an individual unless they are real well healed. I think it's a great target though due to unpredictability and I'm glad OP let us know about it.

When I lived down in AZ I used to get cheap helium balloons and tie them "out there" at a distance suitable for whatever I was shooting, handguns at 25 yards or closer, 100 yards + for rifles, very fun!

I find the most annoying target is Cali ground squirrels. If you miss them, they wise up and are much harder to locate and kill. They have a long memory. I have one in the barn that learned where it can stay out of sight and still keep an eye out for me.

I love the idea! I'll have a hard time putting out $1000 for something I shoot at. This is probably aimed at professional trainers. DR

Get one of them less then lethal pepper ball guns…


Just lob them in the general area and that should do it.


I had to do some overnight reconstruction at a place where a tweaker got into the ceiling grid and was running around.

I got there 12 hours later after the cleaners were done and still had to wear a respirator. When I took it off occasionally my snot burned the back of my throat.
