Know the current market for what you have, price accordingly. Ammo seek online can be used as a guide.

Classified ads require prices. Real prices. So, if you list multiple line items in an ad, each line item requires pricing.

Reloads can't be sold on here, only manufactured.

Shipping. Ammunition can be shipped, however generally not worth the price nor effort for individuals to bother.

Thank you for your help.

Allow me to be brutally honest pal. If you post it here on NWFA, you made your first post just a couple days ago and have no feedback in the classifieds. You're already behind the 8 ball, but we all started somewhere, RIGHT?
"IF" you price it 20% below market, include info on how it's been stored (so people don't have to waste time asking an obvious question), show decent photos AND respond promptly to ALL inquiries, you have a much better chance of finding a buyer in what might be a limited market up in your part of Puget Sound.
Don't wait 2 or 3 days to check your ad, or folks will think you're flaky and move on. When dealing with other members in the classifieds, courtesy and timely communication are every bit as important as price.
My 2 cents worth.

I probably wouldn't bother unless you are going to sell at a SIGNIFACANT discount. 10 to 20 percent less than the same ammo new wouldn't get me to move on it, not when I can order it new for less than you are probably going to sell it for.

If it is discontinued, antique, specialty ammo or something otherwise rare. Then that's a different story.

Let's say that you have standard 9mm 124 gr FMJ. You want it to be in the original packaging not dumped in an ammo can, or worse mixed brands in the same lot in the can. Also, unless you are selling it at less than 18 cents a round, it's probably going to sit there. There is so much ammo on the market right now and prices are super low for common calibers.

Check out the prices for the ammo that you want to sell vs bulk deals on the same thing.

I just ordered a 2000 round case of ammo and paid half of what it would have cost buying it at the 50 round box price.

If you don't have to sell it don't. Save it for the next shortage, and then sell it and make many times more than you paid, if you don't need to keep it.

Price is a huge consideration.
Asking current retail prices for "used" , as in previous sold ammo...is a no sale for me.

I understand that it ain't 1980 any more....but ...
If I wanted to pay full retail...I'd just buy new..

Cyberauctions just south of Tacoma. If it isn't too far to travel. They sell ammo. The negative is you pay them 10% and they have to charge the buyer sales tax IF they are Washington residents. The positive is exposure to a large market gets pretty good prices and your ammo WILL sell. They usually have two auctions a month. No hassles as they just mail you a check, the buyer does not know who you are.
