Want a gas piston setup but it's too cost prohibitive?
This kit will get you up and running with one.
All you need is a complete lower assembly, a mil-spec upper receiver, and a barrel with a mid-length gas port.
If you run a suppressor, this kit could work on a barrel as short as 12.5 inches.*
If you need a different length setup, you can purchase a different op rod direct from Adams Arms.
These parts came from a lightly used "safe queen", that had a 16-inch barrel with less than 1000 rounds through it before I rebuilt it into a dissipator. It ran like a loud, angry sewing machine.
This sale includes:
- Adams Arms First Generation Gas Piston Kit - Mid-length (originally purchased in 2010: includes gas block, gas block key, mid-length op rod, two upper receiver bushings w/ tool, complete bolt carrier group w/ TiN bolt, and an extra bolt spring)
- Samson Manufacturing 9" Evolution EX Series Free Float Rail Kit for Mid-length gas system (includes USGI barrel nut and two sets of barrel nut shims)
- Samson Evolution Rail Accessories: QD Sling Mount, four 2" picatinny rail sections, and three 4" picatinny rail sections
- Heavybuffers.com Anti-tilt Carbine Buffer Kit for Gas Piston Systems (includes a Wolff XP carbine buffer spring, an empty buffer body and various internal weights to allow 'tuning' the buffer to your specific firearm/ammo. Total weight can be adjusted from 4.0 to 6.0 ounces, or up to 8.5 ounces)
[Add it all up and it's a $600 value!]
*It is the buyer's responsibility to follow all laws whether federal, state, or local. As always, all NFA rules apply. Don't get my dogs shot.
