I think likely the actual smallest production semi-auto that wasn't made to be some sort of novelty would be the Walther Model 9, a bit smaller than even the Baby Browning. For scale, here's mine with my Ruger LCP Max, which is itself a pocket gun.

They're approximately the same size.

I do have both, well an original Browning that is… the Walther is slightly smaller in length, width, and height.
