Just when I thought I had zero desire for a new weapon, Tippman comes out with a shoulder fired .22lr mini-gun! $3k but I would get a lot more use out of it than my $2k safe queens.

Oh, heavens, this looks like fun:

(I can't imagine this would be legal to put together unless a SOT. That is mentioned in the video, but the text below it says not NFA.)
Fwiw the company says they might sell as a kit for existing owners of the gattling gun but would only be for SOT holders.

Also has anyone mentioned rhe rate of fire? Doesn't seem to turn very fast from the few videos I've seen on it. FRTs will get you roughly 750-1500 rpm depending on gun and configuration. I wonder what rate of fire is compared to those?

Wow that's weird I didn't underline 750-1500 in my post but it underlined it automatically. Weird. Looks like an oddball glitch in the software. (it did it again in this post).

SOT holders can get a hk mp5 22 for $329 ( on sale) and convert to a post sample machine gun. Rate of fire is 2200 rpm, or the same as the A-10 warthog (dual fire rate older versions). I would like to see if this gattling gun is greater than 2200 rpm. Mp5 is not belt fed though.
@wired should spend $1300 on 4 of these mp5s and make a quad mount 8800 rpm gun. :s0112:
