Not a cb, but I have an '83 GL-500 that's been converted to a cafe' custom (not cafe racer, no downswept bars, rear cowling). It's at pro-caliber here in Bend. Died on my way to work back in May, and they haven't done a damn thing to it. It's 90% condition, straight-wrapped pipes, good looker, not another like it; but there's still room for personalizing it.
