I've gone back and forth on these two for the last month. I have a Tikka LA that it's going to be built on and a Manners EH1TK. I'm going to get a Proof prefit and want to have this finished by elk season. The main purpose of this rifle will be a deer/elk gun with some 1000+ yd target shooting sprinkled in. I'll be reloading for which ever caliber I go with so trying to find factory ammo isn't a concern. I understand the 7 PRC is still very new so most probably haven't any experience with it but any pros or cons with either would be appreciated. Thanks

Since it's a long action I'd probably go with the PRC, unless I'm mistaken, I thought most use the 7saum in short to medium actions. If I didn't already have a 6.5 and 300 PRC I'd probably build one of these 2 you're considering as well
