This is basically the same ammo as the Tula. Biggest difference is that Tula is likely to be non-corrosive whereas the spam can will be corrosive.
This will be 1980 production. Too lazy to look up which factory but one of the 5 the Russians had before the Soviet Union broke apart.
This is your typical light mild steel core ball ammo.

A friend gave me a 20 round box of 7.62x54R manufactured by MFS in 1984. I was wondering is anyone can provide me with any details regarding the load and the markings on the ‘spam can’ lid. Thanks, Darren
