Sorry to inform you but that's not possible.

7.62x51 / .308 uses a larger upper that does not attach to a standard AR-15 lower receiver. You have to buy a complete AR-10, or piece one together from the appropriate parts.

Only if you mean 7.62x39. Then you are correct. Delta Team Tactical (Davidson Defense) or Bear Creek Arsenal usually has uppers available at reasonable prices.

Remember 7.62 includes x39(AK), x51(308), x54(30-06).
