I have a .50 caliber round ball mold with handles that has never been used. Don't know the brand, but it is marked 862.

I'm looking for some 55 grain .224 caliber bullets.

Make me an offer. Thanks...

The sprue cutter is marked .50 caliber and one of the mold blocks is marked 862. I have had it for years, never used it and have no idea of the maker. I will look at again when I get home and see if there is anything I missed.

If its for a .50cal it would be a .490 or .495 since the ball is slightly undersize to allow for the patch. And the various depth of the rifling. I have a Green Mountain Target barrel on my Muzzle loader and with its deep cut rifling I use a .490 ball and .020 canvas patch. I could also use a .495" ball and .015 patch You need to look up the Lyman part number to find out exactly what you have.
