Man what a mess. It says the suspect was the one who called police and then was holed up for 4 hours. I haven't seen anyone reporting yet on whether this was a robbery gone wrong or some type of domestic situation like an angry or jilted husband/boyfriend. But five were dead when it was all over. Not sure if they were bank employees, customers, or both.

But man you never know when just running a normal everyday errand can turn deadly. It's a good reminder to ALWAYS carry.

At least 5 killed in Florida bank shooting, police say

The part I hate the most about these stories is where the shooter is "taken into custody". So now we have to support him for the rest of his life. What a waste of money.

Yes. It is an enormous shortcoming in our judicial system. And I'm not suggesting to bypass due process. But in certain situations where there is absolutely positively no doubt to someone's guilt, it should be 72 hours from arrest, to arraignment, to trial, to appeal, to the chair. Maybe if there was we'd have less of these types of things.

I hate these are just random acts of violence. People die with no excuse, no reason, no cause. Just some arsehat has a bad life and takes it out on innocent people.
Not only is someone's life lost, but their children, parents, family and friends are without their loved ones, and have to carry on, shattered.

And this guy gets what he wants. His name and picture (sad, ugly picture) on all the news channels and people talking about him.

They need to start putting a bullet in them and leave them in a landfill to rot. With no one knowing their name.

Prayers to the families of those lost.
