Just be careful where you shoot them. They are for all practical purposes banned on any range but private ones. Public ranges don't usually allow them and here in WA they are not allowed on DNR land. Don't know about USFS but if you start a fire with them you'll be in deep doo-doo.

Also, tracers usually require a hotter powder for proper performance. If you do decide to load some consider also getting some 844-T or 846-T powder that comes from military "pulled down" tracer rounds. It does a better job of lighting them off than standard powders.
