    PSA AR15 Lower

Some FFL's will transfer lowers for around $10. For $67 I want to buy two!

Really? I didn't know that. Oh well I guess that makes it about $72.50, still pretty good.

Not for an order that isn't a complete rifle, or all the parts to make a complete rifle. Doesn't apply to buying only a stripped lower. You can buy the complete rifle kit, minus the stripped lower, and there is no tax. Then in a separate order, get the stripped lower and again, no excise tax.

I don't understand the "federal Excise tax" thing. Is it something new that the government is trying to pull? Will it be on all new gun purchases?

Its something that all gun manufacturers (and ammo) have to pay on everything they assemble (and sell), its been around for a long time. Regular gun owners never notice it because they aren't the ones who pay it (well not directly).

Wow. I want in on that racket! Is the government gonna start charging auto manufactures taxes to assemble a new car? Lol.

    Thanks for the info physicsguy.

BTW- PhysicsGuy is like a disembodied MEGA-BRAIN trapped in a meat sock that is too smart for his own good! :bluelaugh:
