It's TRUE! I'm selling the Garand I just bought from Hobbit! In fact, I just finished paying him a few days ago! Why? Well, as much as I like it, I realized that I have other guns that need things (like holsters, stocks, scope mounts and ammo!) and as I have yet to shoot this one, I am not attached to it yet. So . . . off it goes.
It is a Winchester with a faint stamp (July '43?), milled trigger guard, plastic stock, and 96 rounds in 12 clips. Gave him $650.00 for it, and that is what I would like to sell it for. I need cash, so the only trades would be for things I plan on buying with the cash (if you have any of these, but aren't interested in the Garand, shoot me a PM, I'll be looking for them when it sells )
Non surplus 303 ammo, dies, bullets
Scope mount and cheek piece for a Enfield Mk4
1/2 cord hard wood
A Tylor-T grip and some of those plastic fake bone grips for a S&W N frame
And a real long shot . . . MAS 7.5x55 dies or non surplus ammo.
I'm in Hillsboro, and WA residents will need to go through a FFL.
Thanks for looking
Vince
