Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Well then... I'll take this opportunity to add to your gun knowledge database! It's a damn shame if a day goes by you don't learn something new, right?
These guys have made high-capacity magazines for a long time, but don't have quite the reputation for flawless function - http://www.promagindustries.com/
Pro mags are pure garbage, they are dirt cheap for a reason!
Because of the cheap prices I have made the mistake of buying them over and over again thinking it's only 10 bucks, right? And every time I had issues.
Tried them in a Sig 226, 229, Beretta 92FS, jam after jam after jam.
There were a ton of pre-ban pro mags on the market during the AWB, so they got popular and developed a following. But, indeed, since the sunset of the ban and subsequent explosion of improved NEW full-cap magazine manufacturers, there are definitely way better options.
Anyone remember "Triple K" magazines? I got a bunch for my mini-14 during the ban... had to make major modifications to every single one, and most still didn't work.
I have some 42rd promags and they work flawlessly in my ar and in my friends ar. They are awesome I like it. Got them for 13 bucks a piece.
