Holy batman,
Way to resurrect an over 3 year old dead ad! though it's amazing how many of these are not closed and sometimes still available.

Yep, I queried an open ad that was 5 years old, the gentleman still had the material, had forgotten about it totally and was very happy to be rid of it.

So, I guess it never hurts to ask, even knowing that most of the time the answer is no.

I do let the Moderators know when I come across an old ad and the OP hasn't been online for many months ... or years. That way they can close the dead ad.

Totally get that. I usually just message the guy when it's that old. But I have found some stuff by querying an ad from a year or two ago as well.
