Looking for a Ruger 77 or Remington 700 in 257 Roberts.

I have one listed on this site right now. It is a Remington 722 born in May 1951. I might be able to arrange for delivery to Goldendale right after Christmas as I or my daughter will be making a run from Portland to Arlington.

What's the bore condition...have you scoped it?

I don't have the equipment to scope the bore but to my untrained eye it looks very good. No rust or visible frosting and sharp rifling. It has a Redfield 3x9 wide field on Leupold mounts. No rear sight as that was removed for the scope. Still has the original metal butt plate and removable sling swivel mounts have been added. I have a large amount of reloading items to go with it as well as 44 rounds of factory ammo.

Hello Cerberus, Just throwing it out there I have a Model 600 Remington that has been re-barrelled in .257 Roberts.It would be a great rifle for a youth or a lady.Its light and not much recoil.Has original wood stock and a Nikon 3X9 Buckmasters scope.Let me know if you are at all interested.I can text pictures.Thanks for your consideration.
