K98 large ring Mauser from 1958
22 inch Barrel
Metal has light wear but no rust.

Floated barrel
The Action is a commercial Mauser from Flaig's arms company its stamped as an "ACE" Model. The barrel is a Douglas contour #4. So it's a little thicker than the usual hunting barrels. This has made a great target rifle for me over the years. The caliber is 25-06 and is a great combination of power, speed, and light recoil. The stock is an after market Walnut stock that I've refinished and sealed with multiple coats of boiled linseed oil and buffed out to silky perfection. The recoil pad has been replaced and all end grain sealed.
The ammo goes with with it.
Great shooting rifle, sub moa with factory Hornady ammo and regularly makes clover leaf patterns at 100. The only reason I'm letting it go is because I have two 270s that I use more often and would like a bigger Elk gun.

Looking to trade for 35 Whelen, 444 Marlin (no remlin) 300 WinMag. Can throw in some cash for the right rifle.
