.22 lr rounds

I received some .22 lr rounds from my uncle after he passed. The rounds have swelled and do not operate in any. Of my weapons. What do I do with them?

Soak them in a buck of water for a week and throw them away

If I was still 10, I'd do what I did back then and pull the bullets, make a pile of powder, throw a match and see if it goes poof.

Take them to your local range and they will dispose of them for you.

We would lay them on a brick and throw another brick on them till they popped. Not only were we easily amused, we weren't very smart!

Pull the bullets with pilers, melt them down to cast other bullets....... It is what I do with all my bad bullets.

i have a .22 bullet stuck in my leg for that very reason. been there for 22 years now actually.

luckily it didn't hit about 4 inches lower and shatter my ankle. went home and told my mom a fell on a barbwire fence and ripped my leg open. looked like i got poked with a little knife. it was just a slit about 1/4" long but boy did it bleed.
