Selling my VW golf (2004)
5 speed
Runs good, drives good, looks good, gets good gas mileage
278,120 miles.

-Unfortunately title is lost.
-And 3rd gear does not work.
(car drives just fine without using 3rd) it has been my daily driver for over 6 months.
-Oregon plates expire this month
-Could use a alignment

New front brakes, fresh oil change
Has a nice Bluetooth stereo

I was thinking that myself, - cause you can get in 3rd, just not every time.

I've seen and fixed a few VW of the same vintage with that very problem. It's worth having a buddy sit in the seat while you watch the linkage. I bet it becomes very clear what is broken...
