I saw this remark in my thread, wondered WTF is this cracker jack crapping in my thread for...
I have buddies that pull pranks, mean ones...
But removing the site hood bending the sight then replacing the hood with no visible marks, me doesn't think so, but if someone did an A$$ wipping is in order...

Looking at the posted picture, sight is not leaning or bent...
Looking at the whole configuration the rifle is tilted, the round barrel or magazine tube actually isn't perfectly squared probably,maybe a little because of the round surface...
Hopefully you feel better now, hopefully you didn't loose sleep over it, I certainly did...
I know I feel better,much better knowing someone didn't sabotage the front rifle sight
