I have only put about 10 rounds through it so I could check the sighting at around 30-40 yards... it was a beauty to behold and dead accurate. This was to be the perfect bird gun (and clays) for me, but I never got around to using it. A little lighter in weight (easier to carry) than my 12g Wingmaster, but still could pack a punch via that 3" magnum shell if needed. Thing is, it was always too darn nice to use out in the nasty elements and so I'd just take my older and we'll worn 12g Wingmaster. I've never had this 20g out in the field! Silly, but that's me.

Anyway, this is the finest example of an early Wingmaster I've seen. Perfect condition. This 1971 20g LW Magnun truly captures what Remington used to do better than the rest... build one of finest all around pump shotguns. It's cambered for 3" Magnum and smaller shells (I've only had about 10 rounds of 2 3/4") so you've got some flexibility there in ammo. The barrel is a ventilated rib that's 28" long with a fixed full choke. The woodwork is just stunning with a rich warm color and gloss finish. Length of pull is the standard 14" (this is NOT the youth or special field model). All the bluing is perfect and there isn't even the typical scratches on that spring cover where you feed the shells. While this isn't brand spanking new, it is the closest you're probably going to get... and these older 60s/70s Wingmaster guns have a noted better build quality than what's made today. Smooth and solid.

I'd like to get $500 for it and I will cover the FFL transfer fee. That's current market value for a typical used example and this one is a lot nicer... so I think $500 is pretty fair. I'm wanting the cash to fund something else (something I'm actually going to use) so NO TRADES please.

I'm just East if Vancouver so I'll meet you at the Tropics Pawn FFL in Orchards for the transaction. Sorry, not interested in shipping.

Hi there. No, he only had this 20g and 12g when I bought it. He told me he had just sold the 12g a day or so before I picked up the 20g. He was an older fella so my thought was he's in that purging so my wife doesn't get stuck (after he's gone) with doing it mode. Nice guy though. Good luck in your 16g hunt.

Yes, a beautiful example she is. I'm tempted to hold onto it, but again, I find I just keep using my old 12g Wingmaster (as it's been around a lot longer and is well worn so I'm not afraid to take it out).

I have a brand new 26" fixed Inproved Cylinder barel with vent rib that I could toss into the deal for an extra $50... now THAT'S a sweet combo barrel set with this classic scattergun.
