WTS/WTT WA 1917 Springfield Sporter 30-06

I picked this up from a friend a few years ago but don't know too much about it. It is in really great shape with good barrel, blueing and Solid pretty wood. I test fired it but other than that I haven't done too much with this rifle. Seems like it would make a great hunting rifle and be a piece of history at the same time. $250 OBO.

I can ship or meet people at an FFL whatever is easier.

Is it a high number or low number? If your not sure, you can give it to us and just "x" out the last few numbers...

Most likely, yes. But I have seen 1's added to the front of low number serial numbers in order to make them more sellable, so I generally ask to see the front ring before I get too interested in a gun.
