I've got a 1911 that is a couple months old. The weapon is not in perfect condition: there are 4-500 rds through it. It shows some rubbing on the finish where my wedding ring is, some wear where the thumb safety is used, and a small light idiot scratch on the frame. There are a couple small light finish scratches on the slide as well. Most of the wear is barely noticeable; I was planning on refinishing the whole pistol in some highspeed black finish eventually.
