I like the look of the RIA 1911 VZ in 10mm with tac rail. Surely there is someone out there who wants to move one of these?

race ready recon (railed)frame from foster ind. $225ish (call and ask for Gary)
para ord 40 S&W (with 3 dot sights) slide from Sarcoinc.com (new, they bought a bunch from para) $140
10mm remsport barrel from gunpartscorp.com w/link and pin $40

remainder of parts and a decent mag shouldn't be more than $100 from sarco.

around $500 plus shipping and fees, and best of all it's not made in the phillipines

on par with them, probably better, (not a fan of new colts or the overpriced kimbers) depends on how well you fit the barrel, slide and frame. they should not require much.

actually it depends on your skill level. take the skill level to assemble an ar15 and double it.

I was trying to find the parts and it does not appear that they are available. Any chance you have links? No worries about building one. hahaha

http://www.fosterind.com/ you have to call they are not great about updating their site, they have a few single stack frames as of last week when I called.

you will need a few caliber specific parts, ejector (38 super or 40s&w),extractor (for 40 or 10mm) recoil spring (IIRC a 20#), possibly a firing pin for a 9mm, I don't know what the para slide is set up for, and of course mags. everything else is standard 1911
