Only 6,108 of the model 1906 were ever produced. This appears to be an early one with 3 digit serial number.

A very similar one was listed on RIA's auction site (oddly enough, the serial number appears to be consecutive to this one). They are not cheap.

I love pre-1911 auto loaders. This was before people knew what handguns were going to look like.
