Hate to be that guy cuz I both have a drone or two and dislike others flying over me…

BUT love em or hate em it's a felony to shoot them down. You own the land under your property but not the sky above unfortunately.

My better one records to my phone so it's not unthinkable that you might get caught in the act and then you risk your gun rights and a hearty financial burden over a nuisance.

Kind of 'influencing' people to do something they know (or may not know) is illegal.

A good goose load would do the job and not make it obvious you intended to kill a drone. Better yet a retriever to bring it to you so you can bury the evidence. Or, just don't bother.
