Unfortunately, Floyd is my senator. I still wrote him a nice little note. I'm not holding my breath, but I hope he will change his mind and do the right thing. I assured him that we'll all know for sure where he stands after this one.

If he gets enough correspondence from his district, he'll take notice. Unless he's not planning on running again, he doesn't want to drum up opposition among those who can vote him out of office.
