The bore axis of a firearm is the longitudinal axis which goes through the center of the gun barrel. In a rifled barrel the projectile will spin around the bore axis as it goes through the barrel.

Laser bore sighter
Thought I would give one of the "in the chamber" lasers a try, thinking that they would be the cats meow. Well was I ever disappointed, I was barely on paper at 25 yds. The scope was adjusted to the laser at 25 yds, first shot was low, left almost 10 inches at 25 yds. How does that even happen?- Discussion Thread
