I bought a lower receiver for AR-15 from Sporting Systems. Transaction going good and I got my receiver at Tuesday (2 business days after) for 128$ (taxed)
Was able to get spacers & pins for my upper here. I always learn new things when I go in since they have passionate employees and lots of variety for AR mods.
Could have been just a misunderstanding but ordered a specific shadow systems with the threaded barrel and they ordered me the non threaded.
Ordered the threaded barrel mr920 and they placed an order for the non threaded. Spoke with 3 people there and still got the non threaded. They made up for it with a 10 round mag since stupid Washington has a hi cap mag ban.
prices seem to be around msrp so you are paying fair prices
you can order guns with them from the interwebs that are not there just do homework beforehand
customer service is good
they have some parts for AR's and small selection of mags
Cons
some guns, specifically the rifles on the wall do not have the price visible. you must pick them up and turn them to see the price. but you most also ask for permission to pick them up according to the signs. I also can't see them very well when they are standing up like they have them displayed. I do not want to pick every gun up. I do want to look at all of them.
overall a good store. Has a decent verity of products to choose from. Not my favorite lay out as far as AR's displayed, makes it hard to see some of the guns and prices. The pistols are layed out very nice and easy to see. I like that a lot. Fair prices too.
These guys have it figured out. Great mix of super high quality gear and more moderate gear too. Makes buying and building rifles a breeze. I try and get up there as often as I can. Keep up the solid work!
I had flash hiders than would just not come off my AR barrels (9mm and 223). They set me up in the vise, let me use the proper wrench, and now it's pew pew! Wonderful crew. Even turned me on to a better reflex site than the one I was using though I ended up buying it used from a forum member (a Holosun). Wonderful selection of tactical rifles, pistols, and suppressors. Certainly not the best prices available online, but fair. Their FFL fees are a little more expensive than others in town.
Bought myself a Glock 19 there a few months back and regularly go in for the incredible selection of AR parts. Some of the stuff is expensive but the customer service is great. Very nice owner, great hospitality, and an unbelievable selection of parts and other things. Wouldn't be my first stop for ammo or hunting rifles, but if you're into tactical type stuff, give them a try.
