I walked in here completely clueless about a year ago, the staff was very helpful explaining the pros and cons of different ARs and helping me pick something that was a good fit for my needs. Went back a few months later to buy a second one and experience was great again. I have now bought 4 firearms from these guys and plan to continue using them whenever I can.

I can't rant enough about how helpful the RSO's are at this range. I bring a lot of first-time shooters here as a guest and the staff goes above and beyond to help them. They're patient and kind to all guests regardless of experience.

Quite refreshing to walk into a shop and be greeted by honest and intelligent staff. My favorite FFL.

Gordon runs a tight ship at Sunset Firearms. He has a small space, but keeps a surprisingly robust inventory of firearms, ammunition, and accessories. Gordon does online transfers, and his FFL info is pre-registered with most of the online vendors. Gordon is personable and professional--more so than I have experienced at other shops.

Inflation has hit Gordon too, however. When I went to the shop on 9/2/2021 his transfer fee was $40.

Despite this, his shop will still be my go to place.

First visit. Meet up for a private transfer. Only $20 , very fair right now.
Tons of new stuff at decent prices.
Tons more used stuff at great prices. Laid out in easy to access areas. Excellent use of space.

Been there 3 times so far. Great experience every time. Came early morning, got set up, and had the lane to myself. Fills up a bit but didn't have to share or feel crowded. Some folks occasionally come around and ask to grab your brass if you're not picking it up. Lane I was in went out to 87 Yds on the range finder. People shoot anything and everything there from hunting rifles to pistols to clays and someone even had some tanerite!
Otherwise, just kept to myself and no issues. Highly recommend!

The wait is worth it. Once in - it is sensation overload. Free drinks. Piles of ammo. And guns... everywhere. And Vortex & Minuteman. Daniel and his fella's rock it!

Knowledgeable staff, well supplied shop, dipping services and gunsmithing available. Staff is professional and easy to talk to about what you want/need.

I bought my grandkids a Cricket there, some ammo, a few mounts etc. Always been met with friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. They've been well stocked in spite of the craziness in the world. I'd recommend them.

Awesome selection, with attentive and professional service. Staff are very willing to discuss options and pro/con with you. Found exactly what I wanted. Had a used pistol at a great price. I always come here first when looking for firearm related goods.

I bought a shotgun from galleryofguns.com and used Armageddon Arms as the FFL for the transfer. No problems, recommended.

This store is awesome, Ive used them several times for various transfers, purchases, gun smithing, ammo, shooting supplies, etc. The people who work here are good people and hopefully in a year or so the indoor range goes up. They also have several resources for firearms training courses/safety/care, and for the ladies that like to shoot they have a decent selection of women's holsters and purses for concealed carry. Check with the two gals that work there and they help you out!

Pantel Tactical handled a handgun transfer from Seattle to my FFL in Reno, Nevada. Seamless trustworthy and value oriented service. I highly recommend the Pantel Tactical for all your firearm needs, wants and desires!

If you do more than one type of shooting TCGC is the best facility in PDX area.

I've been here 4 times now, each time I go I wish I had more time to browse... always seem to come towards closing time. The range is good, prices are great, ammo is plentiful and some of the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. No complaints here, even close to I5 for easy access. My go to spot to shoot if I'm lookin for an indoor range.

Very nice guy to deal with. Answered a lot of question about red dot sights. Has a lot in stock.

I have used Cut Above for my last three transfers, they have been helpful, friendly and fast. I can't recommend them enough.

I use them for as many transfers as I can. 25$ and I am in and out of there in 15 minutes! Staff is friendly, professional and respectful!
