These guys are great.
I used to come in almost weekly to do transfers with board members. Went quite a while before coming back and the staff recognized me as a frequent flyer.
Rather than doing the NICS online they called, eliminating wait time. Great transfer spot.
Had the best transfer experience in a while last night and had to share.
I arrived shortly before seller and the guys there got started right away on my paperwork and putting a call into the BGC line. Seller arrived and we finished paperwork shortly before our call was taken. Another 5 or 10 minutes and we were done and I was headed home with a new toy!
It was so nice to be able to be done in one and not have to make a return trip!!
Thanks again 'A Cut Above' is right!
It is always a pleasure to visit Highline Firearms. I have purchased firearms and ammo on several occasions. They always have a great inventory with fair prices.
Beautiful store, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Almost didn't get chance to become a patron as was initially turned off by the having to arbitrarily wait outside in the cold and rain for 15 minutes with my wife to actually get a chance to go in. Once in however they turned it around and we couldn't be happier with the rest of our experience with them.
Sorry about the wait, we have to limit capacity based on the staff level on the floor (safety concerns). It sucks for everyone, we know and are always evaluating how to increase store capacity without comprising anyone's safety. Appreciate that you took the time to write the review, thank you.
Have done two transfers through them. Staff was friendly and helpful both times. I would recommend them to anyone in the area. Only gripe was transfer fees are cash only.
I went here for the first time shortly after buying a new shotgun to try it out. The man working there was very friendly and helpful and we had a great time shooting here. The grounds are clean and well kept, and the machines are simple and easy to use.
Bring cash! They are cash only! You operate the throwers with tokens that you buy from a vending machine. They also do not have rental guns/equipment or ammo sales so make sure you bring everything you need.
They offer a yearly membership that covers the entrance fee, but you will still have to pay for the clays you shoot via tokens. I believe that the membership also covers the rifle/pistol range next door but I do not know for sure.
Knowledgable Crew, Easy to deal with, Quick response
initially was just conducting a transfer for private purchase with another NWFA member and ended up making multiple purchases over the next couple of weeks. Great customer service! Willing to work with out of town purchasers to coordinate pickup (within reason). Plan on utilizing in the future!! Not only for purchases but likely consignments-(only purchased-did not consign anything yet)
This is my go-to FFL and store. It's a smaller place, so their selection is somewhat limited, but the place has a great selection of accessories and firearms, regardless. I've completed multiple transfers here without issue and their fees are fair.
Excellent selection, plenty of product, always enough!!!
Cons
You have to pick a number to get any help, even if there is 2 other people in the store
Always has plenty of ammo and guns, great selection,
I understand the number ticket system, so that customers are not ignored,
but if there is just 2 or 3 people, exceptions can be made.
Over the years I have purchased several guns from Chris, and he is always extremely friendly and helpful. He is not out to make a fortune from his sales and is more interested in helping his customers.
