Excellent selection and very nice people, but the prices are really high.
We bought a handgun there once, only because they had a great promotion going on that gave us $100 dollars off! To give you some idea of their prices, this discount only brought the price down to about $30 below what I would consider a good price.

Love the guys who work in this place, and I think their prices-while not a bargain- are fair.

They're also opening a huge indoor gun range in Factoria pretty soon- from the brochure it looks like it's gonna kick ***!

I really like their customer service, and the ammo Ive bought wasnt that overpriced. Its not wholesale, but its not gouged. Pretty good prices on most things, IMO.

I took my first CCW class from Wes and have bought a few guns from him when I worked and went to school in Corvallis. Always had A+ service. If I still lived in the valley, he'd still be my first choice in gun shops.

It's great we have a gun store here in Issaquah!!!!!

Not a bad selection of guns and supplies, but bring your checkbook, they are not giving anything away. Ammo is real pricey, but they do have it.

I've been buying guns from Wes, Joanne, Bill and the gang for 13+ years at this point. (Hi, guys!) Back when they were in the old shop (Wes' house), even. I'd be ashamed to admit how many guns I've bought from them over the years, and I keep going back. Truly the way a gun shop "used to be", as opposed to the slick megamart approach you see way too much of these days. Usually a good selection of used guns, too.

I gave them a very good. I'm not arguing with anybody that wasn't treated well, just wasn't my experience there.

I've been in half a dozen times or more, and bought my carry gun from them a few years ago (and one other I think.) I packaged laser grips and a trigger job with the purchase, and it was all good.

It isn't walmart prices but you gotta be realistic about that. Walmart prices mean walmart way of doing business. Shave every penny from everybody along the way, underpay your ee's, buy from China anytime you can, etc.

I support every small gunshop I can. I don't care if it's $.50 for a shell holder, I buy something every time I go in there. I want these guys to stay in business, and if i pay a little more for something so be it.

But there's no excuse for treating any customer badly. As many people on here that have experienced that they can't all be wrong. Don't know what to make of that. I've had that happen so often at Keith's that I don't go in there anymore, others love the place. Go figure!

very good place to do buisness with doug and frank are very good people to deal with happy to order or get anything you want cheapest place to get a ffl transfer shelfs are full of reasonable priced ammo and powder. they have a good selection of firearms at good prices. i needed a few things he didnt have in stock and they had them at another gun shop in town he went out of his way to pick them up for me and sold them to me for the same price he paid no charge for pickup/delivery. i will only do buisness with them now as they treat me well and are always up for a good bs session and they dont treat you like you are stupid like most all the gun shops in this area.

I went in to buy a fishing license for a friend of mine. While my friend was filling out his paperwork I looked at the gun selection and prices. The selection was pretty good and the prices were mostly fair, considering the location.

I did see a large sign that said something along the lines of, "If you voted for Obama, don't even think of buying a firearm here."

Mick is a good guy. I've had several dealings with him and he has always treated me well. He is there to make money so don't expect top dollar for your trades. His trade values are no different than anyone elses, I checked.
I like his selection and the prices aren't bad. He has some black guns and a good selection of hunting rifles as well as a decent selection of pistols. He is the only shop I will deal with in Salem.

I've bought probably 10ish guns from Wes, every sale was very professional and smooth. By far my favorite guns shop in the state. Best 1911 selection I've seen and super customer service. **** I drive 38 miles each way to his shop with out even thinking about it:)

I went there today for the first time. Based on the recomendation of this thread. Nice place, well organized, lots of guns, seems like stand up guy. Helped me sort out an issue i was having with my carry. Will go back and do more buisness.

I gave him a 4 because i am holding out for a place thats better. As of now, the best to date.

This is my second posting in this thread. Well.....I lucked out and found them open and so I braked hard, parked badly and stopped in. They were a bit crowded so I had the opportunity to check out the inventory and most of the accessories. And I was able to see how they deal and interact with their customers.......my only reason for going in to start with.

One of the guys acknowledges me right away...good sign #1. Not just yet, thanks.

Three people working there....about 6-7 customers. . I wander a bit more, and look and listen as closely as I can to the various interchanges between customers and the staff. Two different gun sales in progress. Professional demeanor and civil treatment of customers. No talking down to customers or know-it-all blow-harding when answering questions. Good sign #2.

I see an interesting item or two in the used pistol cabinet, including a Savage 1917 double stack .380 sans blueing that seems priced right for its age.

And I have the necessary cash and then some now burning a hole in my butt. My wife is "not" patiently waiting in the car, we've come a hundred miles still have another 75 to drive.... and I don't want to do that with her ragging on me.... so I muster up some self-discipline and re-focus on the mission. The Savage had probably seen better days anyway.

So it thins out a bit, I ask for a box of ammo, instead of the Savage, and find that it is priced competitively. A little friendly chit-chat at the register, I pay and I leave with a fair-chase first impression.

Reminds me of the what many gun shops used to be.......... and what any shop today still could be.

Pat is a great guy to deal with. He can walk you through the paperwork and processes needed to buy a suppressor or any other firearm which requires a federal tax stamp. Another advantage is you can normally shoot your new item at his shop. Very helpful when you want to compare supressors.
Pat is the person I would trust to hold an expensive weapon for me while my paperwork was going through the process. There are not many other people I would trust to hold a $35,000 item for over 6 (or more) months.

I bought my SKS there late last year. People are ok, typical pawn shop attitudes. I'd buy from them again. Kicking myself for not buying the Saiga12 he had on the wall!

Bought an AK there a few years ago. They have fairly high prices, but most everything is used, so you can find some hard to find stuff there. Good service and pretty knowledgeable.

Just bought a sweet Winchester Model 12 Featherweight from them. Once again they provide an enjoyable gun buying experience. I can not say enough about them. It has gotten to the point that when I am looking for a new Firearm, I don't even bother going anyplace else anymore, and its a 100 mile round trip for me. If you haven't checked them out yet, you should do so. They are good people.

i've bought six guns from doug. never had a problem. he is a little abrasive to new customers. seen it. i went in there on a saturday a couple weeks ago and had to hop behind the counter to help out.
the guy you have to watch out for is ron redding. that guy is a spitfire. never seen a guy so full of energy. i've seen him come in like a force of nature, talk to three recalcitrant customers, knock ten percent off the price of the gun and make the sale.
