Just a great and helpful bunch of guys to be around
Always appreciated to 200 yard steal gong! Like the safety protocol they have in place and when they were aa gun receiving
ffl they were always professional and kind.
I've been going here for several years. I bring some friends here that belong to other ranges in the Willamette Valley and they like ARPC way better and wished it was closer to them. Never have had any issues here. People are friendly. Lots of room to spread out and practice. I wish I could go more than I currently do.
My friend in Albany has a membership here, he took me there once and I zeroed two of my rifles pretty. They have a shop with a decent but small selection of shooting supplies, and they have loaner spotting scopes as well. They have times where full auto is allowed as well. Would go more if I lived closer.
Good club with variety of amenities and rarely bus

Pros
Great shooting range for members
I was a member here for a few years when I lived up near Salem.
I went once a month or so and the place was rarely busy and had about every discipline you could ask for out to 300 yards of rifle range shooting. No fancy sporting clays, but a few trap ranges and a patterning board.
Safety was enforced, but nobody was mean or uptight like at ranges closer to town.
Price and training requirements were in line or lower than other ranges in the region.
We've members of ARPC for a few years now and the membership is definitely worth it. Great place to go shooting for fun or to test fire any of our repair projects.
This is a great range. I have been going weekly for just about 4 years now and it's just a good experience. They are always adding more bays and keeping the old ones in good shape. They treat you like an adult and allow you to shoot how you enjoy shooting. You can draw from a holster, shoot in a 180 degree area (in most spots) and actually train there. In a world where most ranges are all about standing still and shooting no more than 1 shot per 2 seconds this range stands out as an amazing training range.
many different ranges: indoor rimfire, steel target pistol bays, multi-use bays, shotgun / clay, 200 yard main range
Excellent service at pro shop: XO Brian = friendly and professional.
I'm a member of multiple ranges in Oregon, and ARPC is the best of them. Many disciplines to participate in, excellent discipline directors. Ranges are clean and well set-up. Full time staff is professional and friendly.
Indoor rimfire
pistol plate racks on main range
200 yard main range with target backers at 50, 100, & 200 + multiple steel plates at 200

pro shop with targets, reloading supplies - bullets, powders, etc.
One of the reasons I would not move back to Hawaii is, ranges like this and, (up till 114) less gun regulation. On Oahu there are two indoor ranges and one state run outdoor range, that's all.
Not first hand knowledge, but wife went there with her agency and said it was pretty great. Compared it to our previous outdoor range in another state that was perfect for us, so I assume this one is awesome.
High praises for this place. I train biweekly here with a combat veteran and amazing fellow; one-on-one tactical pistol, concealment, and AR. Couldn't be happier from the valuable knowledge I have received here, and the experience every time I go. It's a huge place with spacious bays that are partially covered for inclement weather. Well maintained with the standard amenities. To some in the PDX area, it may be a bit of a drive @ ~1hr. I don't mind it personally, and will continue membership here as long as ARPC is around. If you haven't been here make sure you check it out.
Great place to have a membership. You get very good value for your membership dues! I've been a member for quite a few years now and will stay a member as long as I can.
Nice environment plenty of room for everyone. Great area for beginner and advance shooters. Like I said the main thing is there is plenty of room for your own group to find it own place to shoot.
