The advertisement almost seems like a parody. I too am skeptical and at that price, no thanks.

And last I heard, the best way for a stop is to the CNS or to break the pelvis or femur. I can't really see what, a 40gr bit a copper breaking the pelvis.
I'll stick to fast 115-125's that hold together.
I could just see the prosecutor playing that cheezy ad for the jury.If I get hauled into court because of that thing, I want to be able to point to at least a dozen law enforcement agencies that are using it as their duty round. Until then, I'll stick with my HST's.
+1arent ranger SXT's the same as black talons?
everyone knows SXT stands for "same (e)xact thing". lol.
He sounds like that Mac guy who used to whisper about Special Forces stuff like a total choad. My skepticism has only increased.
Legend has it they're Teflon coated, making them magically capable of defeating ballistic material, or so I've heard...Are the original BT more scary because they are black? Is that the secret? They are more deadly because of the color? I still have a full box of 9mm and .45acp.

They're just old school. I think they were outlawed in CA because they were monolithic bronze (not copper)..I have never heard or seen that ammo before. They do look old but why are they so scary?
The "choad" you're refering to was Richard "Mack" Machowicz. A retired SEAL sniper, instructor, historian, and damned fine human being. I don't know who the guy in this video is, but don't think for a second that you have the right to compare him to Mack. So what if the man whispered? He also fought stage four brain cancer for a year and a half, and never failed to give much of his remaining time to his fans, before the SEAL community lost him on January 2nd of this year. What battles have you fought that give you the right to piss on his memory? He sounds like that Mac guy who used to whisper about Special Forces stuff like a total choad. My skepticism has only increased.
The bottom picture is correct, but the top picture is Hornady Critical duty.I may be way of base, but from what I was told is that these are what the Black Talons evolved into.
