Seems like a pretty good deal!

Good deal? Vote using the arrows above and share your thoughts below. Deal discussion is encouraged.
Bought my first one for $89. Those days are gone, I guess. The only beef I have with the 59/66 is they are a little front end heavy because of the grenade launcher and the longer bayonet. Given a choice, I'd go for a model that didn't have the grenade launcher, which is pretty much useless. That is, if you are looking to shoot it, and not just collect a piece of military history. However, I'd take the 59/66 over anything Chinese.

Back when I got my Norinco I think I got it for $250 and that was a pretty decent deal at the time they have definitely gone up in price over the years. I remember a story of when my dad got his and my grandpa was giving him grief because he paid more than $60 haha! Great guns and fun to shoot for sure!

What's wrong with the Norincos? They seem to be solid and were originally built on Soviet manufacturing equipment.

got my first Chinese paratrooper back when they ($70)and a case of yellow boxed red lettered ammo ($70) were $155 out the door for both
these had everything included, stripper clips, bandolier and spike bayo
took several days to get the cosmoline soaked off

These are Frankenstein mismatched refurb guns. The blade bayonet doesn't fit the spike bayonet cut out in the spiker stock. They basically put a Yugo rifle into a Chinese stock.. Bores are "fair to good" - that's a red flag IMO.

I would stay away from anything Royal Tiger, personally.
