You can come use mine. I'm in Amboy, so it's probably 45 mins from you. With gas prices you can probably just buy one. But I do have a real nice one if you're in a pinch and just need to use it to swap out a sight real quick.

Thank you. I'll keep your offer in mind.

I had the same problem months ago and ended up just buying one (first one of the cheap eBay ones which absolutely didn't work and then a real one for real money). I'm in NE Portland and have one you could use. Don't know the next time I'd be in Camas though.

If you're down in Benton County hand me a $20 bill and I'll fix ya right up.

You can get a 12" long 3/16" or 1/8" solid brass rod at Ace Hardware for $2-$3. Cut 4-6" off of it and you now have a brass drift. Put it in your range bag and make adjustments. Now you can adjust sights on just about any pistol and some rifles.

If you'd like, you can do what I did and drill a slightly smaller hole in a chunk of tree branch or wooden handle, sink the cut end of rod in there and that provides the rod, and your hand, a bit of extra stability.

Since brass is softer than steel, gunsmiths and blacksmiths have been using brass punches and drifts for centuries.

Buy this and don't look back. I use some blue painters tape and some sticky notes as shims on oddball slides and areas of metal to metal contact. No sight pusher can fix stupid. You still need to make sure your fit is good. This one will lock your slide in tight and move the tightest of iron sights. If the new sight fit is too tight you easily remove the pusher block and swap it to the other side of the sight and push it back out.
Make sure the pusher block is set low on the sight but not so low it hits the slide. It works excellent on the Glocks. Read the reviews for a lot of good information.
