Winchester Model 1903

So I have decided to revisit my old Model 1903. And the first problem is the ammo. The second being the bag filled with misc small parts. If you didn't know, it fires the 22 win auto. It is the only gun that fires it. And this makes it very hard to find. Has any one had any success converting these to a modern rimfire? Or should I accept this as proper family relic?

22 Winchester Auto

Just inherited a Winchester 1903 from my grandfather now I need to find some ammo for it. It appears to be unavaliable online, hoping to find someone with a spare box or two. Also curious if anyone has any experience handloading this cartridge.

Some have been converted to 22LR by using a Winchester 63 barrel. A gunsmith could make a new barrel, but that would be very expensive

It's a rimfire cartridge so reloading isn't practical.
