Winchester mod 12 take down full choke 29 in barrel
got as part of a package deal along with previously listed 870.
stock has a chip out of it at the bottom.
I thought I heard Win Mod 12 are now OK for SASS shoots.
Taking a stab in the dark with the price at $400.00. $375.00
I could be way off, let me know.

Nope, Your price is right on! I see these going for between 350 to over 500, and the take down adds considerably to the value, and it's an un cut barrel!

Don't let the chip in the toe stop anyone from buying....its an easy fix with the wood piece that is also pictured.

Damn fine guns. Price seems fair to me. I have had a few come and go through my hands. I regret selling the 20 gauge I had but still have the old man's 12 ga fowling piece. Also to my knowledge all model 12's were takedown capable. Glws.

For model 12's, being a take down is the norm, non take down models are much harder to find. This one appears pretty nice glws!

Non take down model's of the Winchester's are the Winchester model 25 an the Winchester model 12 featherweight.

To get the proper barrel length it's measured from the face of the bolt to end of barrel.. it should be a 30 inch barrel unless it been cut

You cannot use a model 12 for regular SASS events. They can be used for "Wild Bunch" shoots only along with a single stack 1911 45ACP

It's easy peasy to ship long guns via USPS from private party to FFL, and many times alot cheaper than what an FFL Dealer is going to charge you to ship a gun when a person can ship long guns via USPS TO FFL Dealers usually for a lot less, and save all involved money while making the transaction.
