16 gauge with "cyl" choke marked barrel. The barrel was shortened to about 21" at some point in the last 100 years or so, no front bead... In fantastic shape for its age. Takedown works just as it should. There is not a shell restriction plug in the magazine tube so it holds 5 shells (5+1 in the chamber). I have put hundreds of rounds through this shotgun over the years without a single issue; and yes, it slam fires. It handles 2.75 inch shells as well with no problem. I have birdshot, buckshot, and slugs available for purchase if a potential buyer wants. I will not sell the shells separately unless the buyer passes on them. I'll list them in the ammunition section if that occurs.
I prefer to use Sunset Firearms in Wilsonville as my ffl.
