Just ordered a Wilson AR 15 Barrel from Fulton Armory for my Bushmaster Varminter. It's 24" stainless, Wylde chamber .223/5.56. It's the first one I've found in stock after looking for a few months. Supposed to be a decent barrel. Anybody got any experience with them?

Well since it's already ordered up how about a range report once in!

You betcha! Bushmaster/Remington has had my rifle for 8 months now waiting for a Bushmaster barrel. Once I have the FA barrel in hand I'll tell them to ship the rifle back to me. I found a nice stainless .936" gas block to fit the new barrel too.

The old barrel has pitting in the last 2 inches toward the muzzle and a deformed fouling pattern on the crown. It was very inaccurate. I'm thinking about having that one shortened to 20" and recrowned, and maybe a flash suppressor added.
