I see this for sale at $750 now and what is different about it? Is it just lighter weight or is there more going on than standard x model?

If it's just lighter weight I don't see any benefit cu x-calibur has less recoil, unbelievable trigger, and weighs 28 oz vs the beretta is 42 oz. Surely there must be trigger kids etc to justify the price on the beretta

Well that's a helluva deal. They used to be a $1500 pistol.
My understanding is that beretta is making a big push to get more market share in USA. Bad timing on their part though. Guns won't increase until threat of a D in White house imo. There should be good beretta deals over the next months to a year would think.

I was interested in xi SAO tactical but it's still too expensive ($677 after rebate). My problem is for a beretta to come anywhere close in accuracy to the x-calibur it would have to have a much improved trigger. Even then it would have to be 42 oz or heavier to try to reduce recoil to somewhere near x caliber levels (x-caliber uses rotating barrel system).

They do have the px4 with current rebate but I don't like the looks or ergos of that. I do very much like the rotating barrel design though, which is similar to the x-caliber.

There is a reason Beretta's are going for really cheap right now. I would highly suggest avoiding All American made ones.
Wow I didn't know they had USA made ones. Thx!

My Italian made mec gar p365 mags are great. My USA made ones rust in one night in the garage. They are crap because they prioritize being cheap over making them right.

Yeah I try not to be a debbie downer but I got absolutely raked over the coals by beretta on an m9a4. From what it seems the italian ones are still good but I am one of the many horror stories of the american line.
Ended up having to completely rebarrel and retune the gun and at that point I had lost interest.

Holy bubblegum that's horrible. Sorry to hear that. My beretta bobcat I had as a lad was such a piece of bubblegum I've never bought a beretta since. But these low prices had me curious. I won't buy one that is USA made though. Of course I want to support made in USA but I won't buy crap no matter where the crap is produced. I'd rather buy quality. Companies like grand power still even have the assembler initial the gun. The quality and attention to detail is excellent in those guns.

The ones with the black followers are check mate, Orange is MecGar on the new Sig mags, at least for the p320's but probably on the 365 as well. All of my p365 mags have black followers but they are a few years old. I had both on my o320, but the orate follower ones were better.

Us made says made in USA and Italian says made I. Italy on mine. Italian made are quality and have a deep glossy finish. USA made look like thinly painted metal or something. Dull finish. Very thin.

Squalo is $749 and m9 is $479 after rebate.

Why the f is this one so expensive? $894 after rebate:

Anniversary series. My uncle had a Chrysler dealership, and in 1975-76 every time he sold one those 'Bicentinneal Special' models, he had someone roll another car into the showroom to receive it's red, white, and blue stripes, a 'Bicentinneal Special' sticker, and a $1500 markup...

I may end up getting a real one for less than half after the repro with the rebate.. maybe, gotta take care of my car first.
