Western Fur Trade Firearms Display

For those who may be interested...
I will be putting on a small display of firearms of the fur trade...and other related items.
July 6th - 8th

This event is at Greene's Gunshop / The Hawken Shop....
An excellent place to buy firearms both modern and muzzle loading.

A hands on display...and possibly a chance to shoot a firearm from that time period as well.
Discussion and questions about the display / items and time period are welcome.

Sounds interesting, but . . . 7 hours each way is a bit much with nothing else on the agenda.

Again..this is a hands on display...
Not often you get a chance to hold an actual rifle of the period , made for use in the fur trade...
Or possibly an opportunity to shoot the same.

There is also a gun shop with a range at the location.

In any event...usually there is a rendezvous held there...maybe see you then

Do you know of an online source for rendezvous? Only been to one at Ft Stewart, near Astoria. That was over 11 years ago. Wife and I had a blast, I've been looking for similar in the area since.

We just had two at our gun club...one in May..the other in June.
Usually there is one in August at Greene's Gunshop / The Hawken Shop.
However this year ...they are going to Missouri for the Hawken shoot there.....

You may try :
Washington State Muzzle loaders Association's site...they have usually have a list of rendezvous.
