Upon firing, the slide locks back prematurely and the next cartridge fails to chamber, often flipping or misaligning instead.
I have 3 magazines. The locking could happen at any moment with any of magazines in. I stretched mag's spring, it helped, but didn't solve the problem completely. Someone experienced the same? Any permanent solution?

I doubt that it's a magazine issue, if it happens with all three mags. I Would first look at how you're gripping the gun when firing. Perhaps your thumb is hitting the slide stop upon recoil.?

Is it actually engaging the slide stop mechanism or is it hanging up on a misaligned round?

If it is the mechanism and your grip checks out then check the spring in the slide stop mechanism. If it's broken or weak the stop could be moving up due to recoil.

I've changed my grip. The problem is still there. Instructor said, I am not the only person on the range with similar issue with PDP.
The problem appeared after 6k rounds

That's a good question - what comes first? I suppose - slide stops.
Thank you for the idea about the spring in the slide stop mechanism! Will check it!
