I picked up a PDP over the holidays and made the mistake of firing it without the cover plate. The extractor and associated parts departed the pistol into the brush, never to be seen again. Upon contacting Walther regarding the parts being out of stock on the website for months here is the reply I received, "We do not have an ETA for that, parts priority has to go to new production models, then warranty services, and then if any are left, they are added to the website for retail sale." OK. Does anyone know of a third party making parts for the PPQ/PDP??

I shouldn't laugh at that but dang it tickled my funny bone. I don't know any aftermarket retailers off the top of my head, also did a 2 second search and didn't get any results for an extractor. They're pretty popular so somebody for sure is making parts

But be very aware of anybody in drag in the area. Stay clear...very clear!
Ha! indeed. Yeah we have a strong magnet. The area is also covered in spent brass soooooooo not sure the metal detector is going to work unless I can force my urchins into a deep clean on the area. 10 plus years of on and off policing brass has probably created several layers.

@Pinto what are all the parts you are missing? Just the extractor? As some of the other extractor parts are available (extractor spring and plunger) from Walther.

Might be scam site - be warned: https://store.gravelagency.com/en/r...alther/handguns/pdp/5-extractor-9mm-x-19.html
The way it is engineered the plunger that the extractor pivots on is in line and assembled with some sort of "low friction" striker safety and spring for the whole stack. So, without the top plate on I just assumed I was looking at a roll pin or similar RETAINED parts from the top (like every other firearm I've ever handled). Not a spring loaded stack of critical parts awaiting the call to freedom. A few rounds in and FTE. Then it all became clear.

That sit looks to me like someone in CAN is reselling, maybe with the same availability, they just don't state it beyond,
"*Estimated delivery could vary on some products." SO maybe not a good solution.

I couldn't find anything on Brownell's or Numrich Arms. Umarex makes the parts but they don't direct retail much. When I get the parts, someday, maybe a little reverse engineering is in order and a run of parts for retail!
