Purchased new and have been installed for a couple of range trips. They have been lightly smoothed and mildly re-contoured on the back to get a better feel. The factory CNC process leaves a rather unsightly transition that makes it look a bit unfinished. Yes, G10 material is easily worked, much like wood but far more stable and weather resistant. Overall great shape and perfect for someone looking for a compact alternative to the giant rubber factory Hogue grips.
